Michael Plahn
Michael Plahn, an Addictions Specialist, is the Founder and Program Director of LifeSkills Authorities, a business that provides SOLUTIONS for untreated addiction and/or mental illness, not just services. LSA empowers clients to find true lasting change. Mr. Plahn has created two models of care, The LSA Pre-Treatment Solution and LSA Recovery Coaching programs. LSA's comprehensive approach to helping the afflicted, their families, and colleagues has the support of a Fortune 100 Senior Executive who considers LSA "A guardian angel for anyone suffering from addiction or related issues."
Michael is responsible for program development, clinical areas of the practice, and overall business operations. He holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, and a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a trained ARISE Interventionist and a certified Family Meeting Approach Interventionist.
Michael also has a vast array of personal experience that enabled him to build "The Most Comprehensive Approach to Addiction Treatment" one Addictions Professional has ever seen. With executive experience as a young entrepreneur in running a multi-million dollar small business, Michael started and operated his own successful Life Coaching business specializing in stress management, health and fitness, and work-life balance. Michael has completed post-graduate work in Personal and Executive Coaching with the prestigious College of Executive Coaching in Pismo Beach, California. He is a Level II certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach and Exercise Coach through the world-renowned CHEK Institute based in San Diego, California. Michael also holds credentials through The National Academy of Sports Medicine.
