Shawn S. Lealos
Shawn S. Lealos is a graduate of the Gaylord School of Journalism at the University of Oklahoma, with his emphasis of study in professional feature writing. He worked as a sports journalist throughout his college years, winning numerous National awards, including sweeping the sport s feature writing category in the Columbia University Gold Circle Awards in 2001.
After a few years of writing for small local newspapers and freelancing for numerous national publications, Shawn took his skills to the Internet. He has written for pop culture websites Chud.com and 411mania.com since 2007 as a film critic. He is also a member of the professional Oklahoma Film Critics Circle, where he is a voting member in the year-end film awards. Shawn has also written and directed ten short films and is currently writing a novel based on the Stephen King dollar baby filmmakers.
