Barbara Flaherty

Barbara Flaherty MA CDC II has been a counselor specializing in recovery and co-occurring disorders for twenty five years. She is certified nationally as a Neurolingutic Programing Practitioner, and received post graduate work in dream tending. Barbara has taught at university level both graduate and undergraduate courses in counseling, literature, writing, and mythology. Barbara is a former hospital and universty chaplain. She is the founding companion of the Fourth Order of Francis and Clare, an interfaith community of men and women from all walks of life and all faiths. She is a public speaker, and a retreat facilitator. Barbara is an award winning poet, has published in journals, magazines and anthologies. She is the author of two books: Holy Madness and Doing It Another Way: The Basic Text of the Fourth Order.
