Ms. Trissel has been published in Prison Fellowship's Inside Journal, Friend to Friend, The Lookout, Breakthrough Intercessor, and served as the Editor for the Daughter's Journal, which goes into women's prisons acorss the United States.
She has a B.A. in English and Psychology, and a M.A. in Counseling and Human Development. She worked twelve years in public mental health and social service agencies.
Ms. Trissel loves music, and is passionate about passing this on to others. She leads a Worship Guitar Life Group at her church, in which people learn how to play the guitar while also developing a heart of worship toward the Lord.
