Being asked and paid to solve technical problems that others have created, has brought an insight to Jesse's life that leads him to the path of freelance writing. After working for over 12 years in several fields of information technology including network operations, security, systems engineering, and web development, Jesse has found himself with a worthy and valuable perspective in the big picture of how technology integrates into and defines modern culture.

At heart he considers himself to be a technologist with a progressive prospective to the role technology plays in our everyday life. The challenges he has encountered gives him a grounding in real world problem solving that keeps his perspectives in technology relevant to the everyday person. Distilling complex idea's and creations down to their key components is the process that makes his writing readable without the jargon overload commonly found in technical writing.

When not throwing stones at the murky depths of information technology, he enjoys drinking and brewing strong Belgium beers and contributing to the craft brewing movement alive and well in the United States.
