Rachael Brown-Goodman

Brought up in many states along the East Coast in a family with a diverse background, Rachael experienced a range of languages, cultures, and beliefs.
Though Rachael spent much of her adolescent years in the mountains of New York, she was raised and later returned to the Carolinas, where she regained a sense of the diversity an area steeped in history and challenge had to offer.

She continued her amazement with culture and people into college, being highly involved with several international organizations as well as cultural and educational groups and activities.
Rachael finished a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in Anthropology. Her obsession with and strong connection to the past led her to begin work in CRM, or as some call it, Business Archaeology. During her free time she explored her Southern US and European roots, traveling along the East Coast and piecing together the family's past.

After three years of digging, she moved abroad to study Near Eastern Archaeology, and began work on an MA in the 3D Digital Reconstruction of Archaeological sites, which combines her love of archaeology, artistic background, and family's influence of technology and computers. During part of her degree, she worked part-time for a Grassroots NGO serving the local community and was involved in several volunteer organizations.

Rachael is currently finishing her Masters and working for a hi-tech corporation in one of the world's leading technological cities. Over the last few years she has had the privilidge to travel to various parts of the world, work with some of the most interesting and important experts in various fields of archaeology and technology, learn several new languages, and spend time giving back to her new community.

She currently lives with her husband and spends much of the time entrenched in philosophical debate, which he doesn't mind, most of the time!
