Lana Rutherford Tracy
Lana focused her education on science, receiving first a B.S. in Applied Biology from Georgia Tech and then a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology (concentrating on cellular neuroscience) from Brandeis University. With her science background, she became a registered Patent Agent and worked in intellectual property in the biotechnology industry. Currently, Lana is happily a full-time mother of two, but enjoys science and technical writing as well as getting involved in education. Hobbies include gardening, reading, and cooking.
