Texas Stevens IV
I am an artist at heart and therefore only contented when I am creating. My chosen medium of expression is writing. Like painting and photography, when pen is pressed to paper and its ink spills out, staining the page, a moment in the world is captured, becoming forever immortalized in the imaginations of mankind.
I currently write fiction and non-fiction for pleasure, as well as freelance for newspapers and other media.
I am married to an amazing woman, one who strengthens and brings more good out of me than I knew was there. We reside in Dallas, TX.
I love good food, good wine, good times, and good friends. I also hold family very near to my heart. If you value or have any of these on hand and are ready to share, let me know. I'm always open to a good conversation over a smooth drink, or a lingering glass of red wine.

Recessive Job SearchingI wrote this article about a year ago. It's the article I reference in "A Year Gone." Hopefully, it will help give you a little background. -
The State of BecomingThis is a story about the process of losing a loved one. It begs the questions, "What happens to a family that is left behind?" "Where does a soul go when it leaves the body?" and "How does one respond to their loved one being yanked from existence?"
