Gary Ishler
Gary Ishler is a high school English teacher in central Pennsylvania. He possesses a bachelor's degree in English Literature and a Master's degree in Liberal Arts.
Prior to entering the education field, he spent 20 years in radio, doing morning shows, news, and play-by-play sports. He still does some parttime broadcasting work.
He has also published a novel, a science fiction satire, set at a smalltown radio station (The Sound Asylum).
In addition, to teaching and radio, he has coached high school track and cross country, and has been a runner for 37 years, completing several marathons, including Boston.
