Gayle Haynes was married to her husband for 51 years before he died in 2007. She has six children, eleven grndchildren and one great grandchild. In 2007 she returned to UTTyler to take classes in English Literature, History, and Latin. She is currently studying Hebrew. She is active in her church and loves to write.
