Central Pennsylvania resident, I live in the Susquehanna Valley. Born into the Nebraska Amish Community in Union County, I still live near my birthplace. Family is very important to me. I am a mom first. I'm a freelance writer but trained as a teacher at Shippensburg University. I have five dogs and five cats. All my dogs are from rescue type situations. I walk dogs at the local SPCA and adopted from them, as well.
