Shaun Perkins, teacher, poet, storyteller, porch-sitter, beekeeper, gardener, writer, lives in a small town in northeastern Oklahoma. She has been a high school and university teacher for over twenty years and has a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in liberal studies. Her work has been published in numerous journals and newspapers, notably Slipstream, The Phoenix, Touchstone, Storyteller, Infinity Press, The Current, and the Beatin' Edge.
