Born and raised in Germany, living in the US since 1992, completely fluent in writing and speaking in both languages. Child care site director for 7 years, 3rd grade teacher for 3, literacy teacher for 1, High School German teacher since 2006. Adjunct instructor in Early Childhood Education at the local community college since 2001. B.A. in English and Spanish, B.S. in Liberal Studies, M.A. in Education (Language, Literacy, and Culture -- English as a Second Language). Currently enrolled in German as a Foreign Language certificate program. Teaching license in Elementary Education, German, Spanish, Linguistically Diverse Education (ESL).
