Nancy Hayden
Nancy Hayden is a writer, director and improvisor based in Detroit, Michigan. After years of performing in musicals and classical theater, Nancy began performing and writing satirical sketch comedy in the Mainstage cast of the famed Second City Theatre in Detroit in 1994.
In 1996, she began teaching improvisation and comedic writing at The Second City in Detroit and Chicago. Since then she has taught at Michigan State University and several theaters in the Detroit area. Nancy has also written, taught and directed for Second City Communications, a division that uses improvisation to teach team building skills and employee training and co-operation to corporate groups.
Since 2007, Nancy has worked as a freelance web writer. In addition to writing about her expertise in corporate team building and group training, Nancy has produced hundreds of articles, editorials and humorous videos that have appeared on websites such as eHow, The Second City Network, Gawker, Buzzfeed and FunnyorDie.
