Rose Tomassi
Rose Tomassi is a senior at Ave Maria University in SW Florida. She is completing her BA in Literature and plans to continue her education with an MA in English. While her primary academic interest is literature, she spends her free time looking for creative ways to live a sustainable life in a university setting. Born and raised in Portland, OR, she is known to many of her AMU friends as somewhat of a hippie - recycling and reusing cardboard and paper products, storing things in mason jars rather than plastic, growing an indoor garden, buying safe and healthy cleaning supplies, and rebelling against her school's meal plan by cooking her own fresh and delicious meals in her dorm room. This year she plans to make her own Kombucha tea. She also likes to sew, collage, and type on an antique typewriter she picked up at a thrift store.

GRE Studying Gets (Slightly) More ExcitingSitting in Anna Bananas in NW Portland, I was staring at list of 70+ words that frequently show up on the GRE. Nothing was going into my brain besides intense boredom and surprise at my own lack of knowledge.
