Michael Griffith
My name is Michael Griffith. I was born in MaddisonVille, TX. I soon moved on to Hudson, Tx where I grew and attended school. My father passed on when I was twelve years of age and my mother chosse to marry another who didn't want me. At the age of thirteen I started my journey in the coustidy of the state of Texas. I was wild and mad, so I decided to run. I ran into bad people my whole life and had to teach myself how to survive on the streets. I had to learn how people manipulated and lied to get what they wanted, heartache, how it felt to almost die on a hospital bed, and everyday fighting the anger from knowing that my family left me for the streets. My journey of corruption ended when I was at a party and left mad, ready to do whatever came my way. I let my anger take control of my concious and allowed my associates, at the time, to manipulate me into taking from a dear friend of mine. I spent a year incarcerated for that one purpose. I got out of that cage a new man. I learned a new way of life that I had never even thought of. Today I am 19 and have a 3.0 GPA in Industrial Technology. I shocked the people I once knew when I didn't even study for the G.E.D. test and aced it. I worked for the first time in my life. My life was turned around by a mistake. I thank God for it everyday. Thanks for your time.
