Based in Abilene, Texas, I primarily write articles about green and social justice issues, but enjoy writing about a myriad of other topics. I studied English literature, creative writing, professional writing and history in college and went on to earn my Master of Social Work degree in 2010.

I enjoy reading fiction and poetry, playing with my dogs and spending time with friends and family. I love the musical stylings of Neko Case and Star Anna, am an avid Buffy devotee and follow all things Whedon.
