I grew up in Michigan with a love of the out doors.I spent two years at Marlboro College in Vermont studying mostly art.
I have held an eclectic mix of odd jobs, from working in a Crab Cannery in Alaska,to Milking cows in Vermont and Virginia. In addition to honing my skills as a freelance journalist,
I have also run a market garden, been a house painter, worked for a post and beam company, a wooden boat builder, been a caretaker, and a school Librarian.
I have raised 3 beautiful children and have enjoyed participating in and leading scout groups, coaching soccer, and serving on the boards of these groups.I have always been an artist with a love of painting and drawing but recently photography has captured my interest and I can not put my camera down. I live with my wonderful family, who are crazy about Ice hockey, a cute little bagel(beagle basset mix) and a big clunky basset hound named Moose.
