Rory Dean

As a multi-disciplinary artist, I specialize in creative writing, blogging, graphic design, photography, film and video to explore traditional and contemporary themes and collaborate with artists, musicians and other writers near and far. I prefer face-to-face collaborations but am equally adept at planning, implementing, and developing projects with clients on-line and across the globe. I am a graduate alumnus of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where my focus was Motion Pictures & Television with an emphasis in working with actors, directing and screenwriting. I completed a variety of projects using 8 and 16mm film, standard, hi-definition and 24fps video. I completed my graduate thesis film, Once Beautiful Past in May of 2007 and by early 2008 started submitting to various local and world-wide film festivals.

As a writer, my short stories and poetry have been accepted by domestic and international small press publishers and magazines. I am currently the author of Above The Line, a blog offering practical movie reviews from the perspective of an avid movie-goer and movie-maker. I actively publish content on-line and in other publications across multiple platforms.
