I left corporate America for life as a minister's wife and home school mom and have since been on five mission trips, three overseas and two in the United States. The Hurricane Katrina relief trip was the hardest emotionally.
When I'm not teaching home school, I volunteer in the church and at a pregnancy help center. Now that I'm no longer on the corporate payroll I must also keep a close eye on our family finances. Being good stewards means we have the money to support mission trips and relief work around the world.
