Clayton Browne has a BA and an MS in Anthropology, and has been writing professionally since 1994. He worked for many years in both educational publishing and the translation industry, but eventually felt the tug of the muse and became a full-time self-employed writer/editor. Aside from sports and newswriting he specializes in translation projects and editing the writing of non-native English speakers.
In his spare time Browne reads and writes science fiction, plays a good bit of poker (both online and live), and tries hard to eat well and get out for a bike ride several times a week. He is also an active volunteer at the Austin Children's Shelter and works as a mentor and tutor with disadvantaged youth.
