Kabrina McLaughlin
Based in New York City, I'm currently a photographer, researcher and writer. I spent seven years at FAO Schwarz and worked my way up from a manager position to an associate buyer role before leaving two years ago to pursue a more creative and independent freelance career.
Since then, I have built up my online writing presence, honed my research skills while working for a health magazine, began selling stock photography, started an art photography blog and opened a photography print shop on Etsy. I also began traveling extensively. I backpacked for six weeks last year through the Baltic Region and just returned from ten weeks in India and the Balkans. I've visited Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Istanbul, The Netherlands and the UK. I also travel to Montreal every year to practice my very basic French and to experience the inspiringly fresh music scene. Next year, I'll see Southeast Asia.
