I am a stay at home mom with 2 small children. I have been happily married for 10 years. I was an educator before my children were born, now I work part time as a substitute teacher. I have enjoyed writing since I was in middle school. I am an art quilter, I love to cook, read, and watch movies. When possible I enjoy traveling. I have a blog about my life as a quilter. Other crafts I enjoy are cake decorating, origami, and holiday crafts. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love gardening. I have been gardening since I could walk. We have a vegetable garden every year. I enjoy passing the love of gardening onto my kids. My husband and I bought an older house, and there is always something needing a repair. Together we have sanded, painted, and tiled every room in the house.
