Deya has been a professional writer since 2001. A six-time produced playwright, she made runner up as "Best In Fest" at the 2004 Bill And Peggy Hunt Playwright Festival. She has worked in PR, drafting newsletters, press releases, building programs and posters and writing radio and interview copy for over five companies and private organizations in the past ten years. She is also a co-founder and Board and Press Secretary of The Outfit Theatre Project, in Washington State. Additionally she contributes articles to AOL and Demand Studios, on Theatre, Film, Food and Travel.
