Kathleen McCracken

I am a working mom with two little girls from the Detroit, Michigan area. I am also a struggling freelance writer and have had the pleasure of having one of my many poems published in "Dancing in Light." In my spare time, I enjoy writing poetry, short stories and other literary pieces. I have the uncanny ability to creatively describe any event no matter how mundane and make it interesting for the reader.

I believe in living each day like there is no tomorrow. I believe in unconditional love, karma, BFF's, the love of a small child, Santa Claus and God!

With all my infinite wisdom I have come to realize that the most valuable asset I could ever have in my lifetime are my children, Kaila and Krista. They bring me up when I am down and make me laugh when I have had the worst day ever without even trying. They love me with all my faults, unconditionally. You cannot put a price on that. As long as I have my family, material things just don't matter. So when this sluggish economy is bringing me down and I can't afford some of the finer things in life, I look at all I have. To me, my girls are the finer things in life.

I am hoping to share with you, through my unique writing style, helpful, informative research on many topics as well as advice. If you can walk away from my articles feeling better than before you sat down to read them, than I have accomplished my goal; giving you a little piece of happiness!
