Born and raised in Brookfield, CT, I am currently living in Jacksonville, NC as a result of my husband's military career. I am a certified teacher and I work as a private tutor and substitute teacher. I also enjoy freelance writing. My education background consists of a Bachelor's degree in General Science from UConn and a Master's degree in Education from ECSU. I am always trying to learn more about teaching and how children learn. I also like to read books about food and nutrition. I am passionate about exercise and make sure I work out atleast three days a week.
