Non-denominational Church and Christian Academy. Our roots can be traced back to the second century as Universal (Life) Church was the name of the original Roman Church and would become the Catholic Church after the Edict of Milan in 312 CE and the birth of Christianity in 313. Universal comes from the Greek Language and means Catholic.
Do not mistake us with "Life Church" started in 1959 by Kirby Hensley. Hensley in 1962 would borrow our name and incorporate within the state of California, however the name is proprietary to the Christian Church. This California based Church has had its share of legal issues, and is an interfaith Church that ordains satanists.
