Brent Lundin
I was born in Omaha, Ne. I have had a crazy life. A lot of experiences will teach you a lot of things. You have to thrive in chaos and make lemonade out of lemons. Of course, everything starts from childhood. I learned at a very young age the cards that were delt to me and what I would eventually have to do with them. I can always see what the future is; getting there was another story...
...My brother, sister, and I were physically abused as kids. It was very dark times and there was little fun to be had. Mostly just scared all the time. Then once I got to be 13 I moved away. Once I was 15 I got into drugs and stealing. Between age 19 and 23 I went to jail a number of times. I am 28 now. One day when I was 22 or 23 years old I was laying in my bed thinking I was going to die and decided that moment that drugs were no more! I quite the pills, coke, and anything else THAT DAY. Drug free for about 5 years. I continued to drink though. I got my 3rd DUI 2 years and 10 months ago. I thought my life was over AGAIN. I have been sober ever since. I learned many great things along the way, thankfully.
I am now getting my Masters in Psychology. Just to think, ME, a Doctor of Psychology! HaHa. Every day is a battle with my past to defy the sociological consequenses of my actions. I am going to do it. I want to help people from ever reaching the life I lived. I want to be thier guide and show them that even thoguh bad things happen, if you make the right choice, you can turn your life around.
I am also getting married! :-) I am very excited! I am on this website to publish my writing, of course. I have been writing since I was in 5th grade. I have thousands and thousands of pages, although some volumes have gotten lost over the years. I hope people see my writing and like it. My real dream is to have poetry be more recognized in main-stream socioty. If you have any questions, just shoot me a message.
