Julie was born in a small town in West Virginia. There wasn't much to do in this quiet country town, so she started writing to ease her boredom. Soon she discovered how much she could convey through the written word. Crocheting is her other love having learned at the age of eight from her grandmother. She now crochets for several different charities throughout the year and has opened an Etsy shop. She also has many of her items in an exclusive Children's Boutique called "Papoose" which is located on Battery Park Avenue in Asheville, NC. where she now resides.
