Vina Barham
Vina Barham is a work-at-home mom who grew up in the Philippines and is now based in Seattle, WA. Her journey into vocational homemaking evolved into a passion for authentic simplicity, natural living, real foods and holistic health. She is passionate about making the world a more nourishing place for families and children. Prior to becoming a domestic-goddess-in-training, she spent a few years working in the international humanitarian scene as an ESL Teacher, Student Mentor and Volunteer Coordinator. She has worked with immigrants and refugees and lives in the award-winning Highpoint Community known for its ecologically-conscious mixed-income housing.
Vina considers herself a contemplative activist who believes that transformation starts with the small, everyday things. She is also fascinated with Esoteric Christianity, Feminist Theology and Inter-Faith/Religious Studies. While considering herself a follower of Jesus, she recognizes and celebrates the divergent beliefs that draw people to the One True God. She is working towards becoming a Zumba Instructor, Holistic Health Coach and Therapist. Her day job involves a lot of dancing, singing and creating all sorts of messy projects with her toddler.
