Matthew Darrow
I am nineteen years of age and have recently returned to college. With the teaching I receive through class lectures as well as my opinions on said teaching, I do my best to come to, if not original thought, a creative perspective.
From the first day of high school I was hooked on Journalism. I had already been intensely interested in writing and this was likely the best choice in class to get one-on-one training in writing and the several other aspects of Journalism.
I basically lived in that class, a passion lit inside me that seemed to never burn out. Through my determination, dilligence, and experience in writing, I was honored to receive that position of News Section Editor in 2007. That spurred me into a year of acquiring more knowledge than I knew I could hold.
I maintained my fervor in the class, interacting often with others writers and technicians, doing my best to solve whatever problem needed solving. At the end of the year my ultimate wish was granted when I found out that I was next in line to be Editor-in-Chief.
Immediately I was busy planning, well, the entire class schedule for the year. During this term I found out even more about interactions, including those outside of the school. I also learned the burden of leadership, and the consistency that must be maintained through it.
Now I wish to learn as much as I can about the world. I also wish to share with the world my own experiences and/or those of others in order to shed light on critical topics.
