Harold Dean Sink
This relocated native Oklahoman now lives in Collin County, Texas, and is currently working in retail, while pursuing writing and art at home. His passion for artistic aesthetics and learning how things work still drives him onward to learn more and more.
After inquiring of his interests, he asked, “How long is this interview?” This was a good laugh as he went on to explain of his varying interest and hobbies. “Mr. Green Thumb” enjoys learning about different aspects of animals, plants, architecture, mechanics, computers, photography, traditional and historic art, world history, genealogy, and so much more. He surprised me of his faith in God, and being a Christian, too.
It was after graduating high school and seeing originality fade from TV and movies that he attempted to write an original novel. Time travel stories and movies keeps his hope up to finish his novel. He has three children’s books pending.
Harold attributes most of his skills from his maternal grandparents. Pat and Viola Duncan of Altus, Oklahoma, were a carpenter/oilman/farmer/tailor and artist/photographer/AVON salesperson, respectively. He credits his parents, J.D. and Carolyn, for being passionate readers and instilling a desire to learn through reading.
