Amy Sandy
I am 39 years old, am a mother of four and a grandmother to one. I have been a jack of most trades for the majority of my life. I have held positions from gas station clerk to office manager. I currently have my own bookkeeping business, but I am keeping it small. My two youngest children are disabled. I have also been a community volunteer since late in 2007. I have been on the Chamber of Commerce Board, on the City Planning Commission, on the City Council, a member of the Lion's Club, Editor in Chief of a small town newspaper (I did literally everything myself), Chairman of a Children's Park Committe, started a support group for parents of disabled children, and on several other committees. Currently, I have downsized it to one volunteer opportunity and that is the school Parent Group. I am now staying at home taking care of kids and working my business. Enjoying life is what I am all about for now.
