Kari Hawkey
Kari Hawkey is a multifaceted writer. She grew up in Orange County, California and currently resides in Huntington Beach, but has wanderlust and enjoys traveling the world. Kari instructs middle school students in English Language Arts and English Language Development. Kari holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Creative Writing, a Masters degree in Educational Administration, and is pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts at UCR Palm Desert with an emphasis in poetry and screenwriting. Kari is also an interior designer focusing upon eco-friendly design. You will often find her at a local theatre, art exhibit, Nordstrom’s sale, or just reading a book on the sand. As a self-proclaimed movie buff, she can probably quote more lines than IMDB. Overall, Kari just loves to laugh, write, run on the sand, swim, sort her Netflix queue, travel, dance, paint, and sing off key while driving.
