Mike Halterman
Mike Halterman is the publisher and editor-in-chief of Out on the Town Magazine, a magazine catering to gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgendered people (the GLBT community) in the Florida Panhandle, Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
He attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, majoring in journalism and minoring in French.
In the past he has worked with WTSP-TV in the Tampa/St. Petersburg market, OMG! Magazine in central and south Florida, and the monthly periodicals department of the Pensacola News Journal. As a freelancer, he has interviewed talent and worked alongside such worldwide broadcasters as CBS, BBC and NRK.
He started his job experience at the Wikimedia Foundation (the organization which runs Wikipedia) as a communications intern.
