Jayne Cravens
Jayne is an internationally-recognized professional with more than 20 years of experience regarding communications, volunteer involvement/community engagement, and capacity-building on a variety of topics for nonprofit organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs)/civil society, government-based community programs, and corporate philanthropy programs. Jayne is a pioneer regarding the research, promotion and practice of virtual volunteering, and a veteran manager of various nonprofit and community-focused initiatives. She has been promoting the use of Internet tools by nonprofit organizations since 1994, and had one of the first Web sites to help nonprofits use computer and Internet technology tools. A native of Kentucky, she lived in Germany from February 2001 through April 2009, except for six months in 2007, when she lived in Afghanistan. She has traveled to more than 35 countries, many of them by motorcycle.
