Fred Stichel MS,RD,LDN
Fred was born in New York City where he spend his childhood. He attended college at Binghamton University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Fred explored a variety of paths over the next few years including travelling across the United States and Western Europe, attending graduate school, and developing a passion for photography. Fred began his teaching career in 1990 at a high school in Brooklyn, New York. He taught there for three years before getting married and moving with his wife to Seattle, Washington. There he spend two years working in the commercial photography industry. Upon returning to New York City, Fred also returned to teaching spending the following eight years working with a diverse population of students at a high school in Queens. In 2004, Fred moved with his family to North Carolina where he became licensed as a Dietitian and Nutritionist. An avid cyclist, Fred spends much of his free time riding, running and hiking.
