Rick Moore
I am a longtime professional writer who has written extensively about music and the music business; I also have worked as a general freelance reporter and features writer for various Gannett newspapers (primarily the Tennessean in Nashville), as well as a variety of other newspapers, magazines and websites, covering everything from local politics to breaking news. I was a professional musician (primarily guitar, but other instruments as well) in the midwest, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Nashville, as well as a radio announcer and radio talk show host, working both for a National Public Radio affiliate and a Christian talk station. I currently live in Nashville, where I contribute to American Songwriter magazine, the Nashville Music Guide and other publications.
