Pacian Ayme Miller
Ms. Miller is a High School English teacher and a part-time teacher of music and drama in various settings. Outside of formal teaching duties, she devotes time to her two toddlers, her husband, and volunteer music and drama opportunities. Writing has always been a talent and an interest and through the Writing Project, Ms. Miller has discovered a pressing need to be heard. She is encouraging her english students to use the digital format as she has recently and happily found the medium herself.

A Student is No Less Worthy of the Artist LabelThe piece explores the idea that adolescents are under the impression that their artwork is not marketable as real art. The author describes the discovery and her attempt to rectify this, at least for one young artist.
