Samantha Shaddock is a Dallas-based editor, writer and producer. A nearly 10-year veteran of the craft, her work has appeared in The Dallas Morning News and D Magazine and on TheStreet.com and Yahoo.com.

In 2006, Samantha received the Texas Associated Press Managing Editors award for headlines in the state's largest circulation category. The next year, she packed up her cat and her computer and moved to Manhattan, where she worked for more than three years honing her skills in online publishing.

Samantha has edited thousands of stories, written countless headlines and managed some of the top financial writers in the country. She's a master at fitting the right words in the least accommodating spaces and at melding the science of Web search with the art of headline writing. Her adaptable writing style takes her easily from financial news to features to opinion pieces to promotional copy.
