A.C. Haury

A.C. Haury is a Philadelphia-based writer with over 10 years of experience in writing for the web. She has over 7 years of experience in the healthcare industry and is well-versed in medical terminology, health insurance rules and regulations, billing procedures and more.

A.C. received a certification in music theory and vocal soprano performance in 1998. A.C. also plays the flute, piccolo, and the recorder. Haury was first published in 1999 at age 17, when her poem “Diminishing Whisper” was published in an anthology of rising poets. Haury has written hundreds of poems, some of which are available on Yahoo! Voices.

A.C. specializes in various niches including music, finance, pets, parenting, Irish American and German American culture, literature, defending the Harry Potter books to literary snobs, writing poetry, travel, entertainment and more.

In her down time, A.C. enjoys writing poetry and fiction, as well as listening to music such as Florence and the Machine and Mumford and Sons, and spending time with family.
