Sue Cauhape
Sue Cauhape, author of Paradise Ridge, has lived in the Great Basin most of her life. While studying English at the University of Utah, she cut her writing teeth at the Deseret News. In Santa Cruz, CA, she joined the Santa Cruz Storytellers, telling everything from folktales to Shakespeare to adults and children. In Truckee, she joined the Jibboom Street Poets and published in Moonshine Ink, the Ash Canyon Review and the Jibboom writers first book of poetry. While in Truckee, she wrote feature articles for Our Town Truckee and the Reno Gazette-Journal.

Cauhape currently resides in Nevada on a one-acre backyard farm she calls Rancho Pequeno. She and her husband, Jeff, grow vegies and chickens and keep their daughter s horse, Abby, who is the subject of Sue s poetry book, When the Horses Come and Go.
