The first half of my life was spent in the South Pacific islands of Japan and the Philippines. I witnessed the overthrow of the Marcos family from the Philippines and I can honestly say that my high school was destroyed by a volcano. I moved to the U.S. in the late '80's extending my education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where I fell in love and laid roots. My education and work experience is heavy in banking and finance with emphasis in commercial lending and credit analysis. For several years now I have taken a radical sabbatical from finance and individualism to pursue motherhood. My passion for writing is self-medicating and therapeutic, and hopefully a means of self-fulfillment for the second half of my life journey.
