Adele Hopkins

Philadelphia resident and New Jersey native, Adele Hopkins, began filling diaries at the age of six and continued through grammar school journaling and writing poetry. Her passion carried her on to Seton Hall University, in South Orange New Jersey, where she embraced the rigors of the Honors Program and subsequently won the Elizabeth Ann Seton Women's Studies Writing Prize for her essay, The Body Image of African-American Women: Positive or Product of the Post-Modern Perpetuation of Prejudice. Adele has spent the last nine years working in the nonprofit sector performing a variety of tasks including: grant and proposal writing, marketing, promotions and trade, sponsor acquisition and sponsorship fulfillment. In 2009 Adele placed first in Scripatapoolza's reality television category and has since written a spec script and original sitcom pilot.
