I am the mother of four children, who are now all adults. I have four grandchildren, who light up my life. My husband and I live on five acres with wonderful views. I believe that our outlook on life is what we make it. I know that approaching life with the right mindset and attitude makes a world of difference. I love to write. I am also an artist. I paint with pastels. Art is a large part of my life.

Teenagers are my favorite people. The teenagers of today are very misunderstood and disrespected. They are, overall, a very intelligent group. They are artistic and adventurous. They are wonderful people. Not to mention '" they are our future.

When I was raising my children, many people disagreed with some of the lessons I taught them. But as adults, the lessons they learned have been very beneficial to them. Those folks who disagreed, they now understand the path I was taking.

I am a free spirit who can laugh at myself, who looks for the humor, who finds the magic in everyday life. I cannot imagine being mundane or in a rut. Why would anyone purposely do that to themselves?

Find the magic in everyday life. Look for it. It is there. And learning how to see that magic will change your life!
