Jim Fitzgibbon
Since I started working, I have been successful in a variety of jobs both professionally and in my personal life. Most of my professional jobs have been with major financial companies in Boston, most of them have merged or changed names over the years. New England Merchants National Bank, Bank of New England, Shawmut National Bank, Putnam Investment Services, First Data Corporation, PNC Investment Services are their names. In these companies I have excelled in:
- Bank Teller (2 years)
- Operational Analysis (3 years)
- Business Process Re-engineering (6 years),
- Business Analysis (12 years),
- Programming (3 years),
- Project Management (15+ years), and,
- Management (20+ years)
I spent a couple of years in retail doing BPR for Hills Department Stores, mostly based in the Ohio Valley.
During the last 4+ years, I have had the opportunity to hone my entrepreneurial skills as VP/CEO of Liquid Capital Solutions, a finance company providing Accounts Receivable financing to small and medium sized businesses. I have grown the business from ground zero to over $4million in sales thus far.
In my personal life, I have also been successful. My favorite hobby is Artistic Roller Skating, first as an athlete participant, then as a coach. While skating I achieved 21 National Placements. After I retired from competition, I coached many skaters to become National Champions.
I have enjoyed being able to bring the best performance out of the people I have managed in business over the years, and those I have coached to the highest levels of athletic achievement.
My experiences have been varied, and interesting. I am looking forward to sharing this information on the Yahoo contributor network.
