Justin Takasawa
Born in the Midwest. Raised in New England. Dweller of the South and currently back in the North. Family man and outdoor adventure enthusiast. He took an interest in writing while attending high-school at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire. From there, he joined the Navy in 1998 and dropped out of rescue-swimmer training and instead took up journalism. He was trained for six months at Defense Information School at Ft. Meade, Maryland. Training included print journalism, broadcast journalism and photojournalism. Having taken a respite from writing, Justin went to work in the home-remodeling industry and continues to work as a carpenter. Currently, he is an avid whitewater canoeist and outdoor enthusiast.
