A New York City native, Zach has lived in Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, London, England, Tokyo, Japan, and most recently Burlington, VT. He received a degree in Theatre from Northwestern University in 2006 and a JD from Brooklyn Law School in 2010. He currently works as a freelance journalist and novelist as well as a non-profit administrator and consultant. His hobbies include politics, music, independent music, film, independent film, comedy, cooking, fantasy, science fiction, writing, reading, sports, football, hockey, veganism, environmentalism and sustainability, and community service.
