"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..." - Declaration of Independence, 1776

I am an Illinois State Scholar and graduated Salutatorian from my high school class. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. Currently, I am a graduate honor student pursuing my Master of Science in Legal Studies from Kaplan University.

While at Kaplan, I have maintained a 4.0/4.0 GPA. Also, I am a member of the following honor societies: Alpha Beta Kappa, Golden Key International, and Kappa Lambda. Additionally, I have received accolades from several attorneys and a book award from a federal-sitting judge. Furthermore, I am writing a book on federal law that will be published in August 2011. As a Yahoo contributor, I would like to write articles on the law, politics, and government. In particular, I am interested in writing about the U.S. Constitution and in covering the process of enacting of Congressional legislation.
