Shannon Kelley
I began my career in writing as one of the founders of Trine University's writing center in 1997. I have solid educational training in creative writing and communications. Following graduation, I began working for Sloan Publications as its Editorial Assistant on three major publications in the Bay Area. After about one year of working at the paper I decided I wanted more variety in my writing style. I found my niche in marketing communications. It allowed me to travel the world, while honing my craft. I spent the next 12 years writing marketing content for various industries, including but not limited to the following: high tech, entertainment, education and hospitality industries. Consequently, I left the corporate world and became a freelance writer and copy editor.
My areas of expertise include internal and external communications for small business, schools and corporations. I specialize in copy editing, proofreading, creating and managing website content, social media platforms, collateral, newsletters, case studies and email campaign content.

American Idol, the Right ChairWho's the right American Idol, the right chair judge that is? Simon didn't move from the right chair for 9 years. Randy was always on the left, the ladies and guest judges stuck somewhere in the middle. All puns intended. Mix it up Idol!
